Project Viper Holiday Special

Seasons Greetings to all, wherever you may be in the world.

Still very much a work in progress, but here are some glamour shots of the current state of the Viper, to help celebrate the holiday season:

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone! May you have a healthy and prosperous year in 2021.

  1. If you could get this to Boca Chica overnight in its current aluminum state, it would be an awesome laugh for everyone at sunrise. Awesome work!

    • Thanks for your interest and feedback Ed. I’m building it to be modular so that it can be transported on a trailer. My plan is to take it to events, shows, conventions and charity events – hopefully spread some inspiration to future aerospace engineers 🙂

    • Thanks so much for your kind words! I haven’t considered patreon or donations, but I certainly appreciate your generosity. If only there was a way to donate time – that is what I need the most of these days 🙂

  5. That’s amazing Scott! My husband and I are big BSG fans and just came across your work. It looks great! Just wish you were in the US so we could see it when completed.

  6. All the pictures I have seen have just been the port side… IS the Starboard side progressing the same? or will it be done later?, (or not at all?)

    • G’day mate, yes I’ve only worked on the port side so far. My plan was to fully complete the port side and basically prove to myself I could do it, before commencing on the starboard side. Hopefully the starboard side build will commence in a few months time.

      Cheers

    • Hi Raven, thanks so much for your positive feedback. I currently don’t have any other social media pages apart from WP. I was thinking about creating a dedicated FB group, so I’ll keep you posted.

    • Hi Stephane, I appreciate your interest and feedback. I work in IT and have no aerospace experience to speak of, but I do have a great passion for all things aerospace. I also enjoy the process of creating/building things.
I’m hoping to one day take the Viper on a North American tour, but that’s a little way down the track 🙂

      Cheers
